HM+Balmaination Revolution

H&M never cease to amaze me with the fashion collaborations, plus it’s a interesting way to move ensuring that both parties learn something from each other as they move forward through collaborating.

Jourdan Dunn, Olivier Rousteing, Kendall Jenner
So hold tight last year Alexander Wang announced at Coachella that he would be designing for H&M. This year it’s luxury fashion house Balmain a massive favourite of the Wests clan, not just the clothing, Olivier Rousteing the creative eye of Balmain is a great friend. Don’t say you forgot about the campaign Kanye and Kim did last year?
Olivier arrived at the Billboard Awards arm-in-arm with Jourdan Dunn and Kylie Jenner who both wore Balmain. And no doubt are the Balmain girls possibly for the H&M campaign, Olivier did say that they make him feel good and he is close to them.
It was reported by that Olivier said “He’s really honoured and proud that at such a young age he gets a major collaboration” I feel I have a double personality: One is the designer who created the collection, and the second is the one who remembers how it felt to wait for the pieces and fight to get them. That’s what’s going to make this collaboration really real, because I know the feeling of wanting the pieces and worrying you won’t get the pieces because it’s going to sell out in two hours”.
The collaboration will be the 11th for H&M the last one was the ever-so-talked about Alexander Wang so you need pretty big designers feet to fill this role. Balmain are known for richness of fabrics, elaborated couture beaded pieces, the embroideries and Le smoking jacket made sexier.
The Balmain collection for H&M will include women’s and men’s clothes, shoes, and accessories, and is scheduled to hit H&M’s e-commerce site and stores worldwide on November 5.
