The New Addition of Print to Fashion Blogs and E-Commerce Sites Gives Consumers More Ways to Find Stylish Looks.


Net-A-Porter’s Shop The Look strategy has expanded into print publication Porter while e-commerce site has followed suit with Editorialist the magazine. Both hold a solid position in their respective markets Net-A-Porter being a luxury online retailer with millions of visitors to its site has been considered a Mag Bag to the online version of Elle. The Editorialist has only been in the market for a year but it’s the only one of its kind as an accessories focused e-commerce site that features tons of “editorial” content.

Net-A-Porter’s print pub “Porter” features Gisele as it first cover and the “Editorialist” features Nina Agdal with one boob in hand on its first cover.

Both publications have a mission to increase online shopping but Porter’s subscription includes a $48 cost and publishes six times a year as traditional fashion glossy. Editorialist will be distributed to its top 25 percent affluent customers. It will also be available to select fashion media and luxury hotels in New York and Paris during collection showings. The Editorialist will have the same content available online at

With major fashion blogs and e-commerce sites going into print it almost leaves us ( thinking what do we do next!
