Style No. 601 Celebrates International Supermodel Naomi Campbell Featuring Vogue Paris…HBD!


Naomi, we at thank you for showing us how to strut our stuff! The Sino-Jamaican South London Bombshell was born May 22, 1970. By age eight she had already hit the scene with Bob Marley’s “Is This Love”. But it wasn’t until she was fifteen before she was discovered.

According to Vogue Paris,

The following year, she is the face of the fragrance Jazz ‘s Yves Saint Laurent . In August 1988, she was the first black model to pose on the cover of Vogue Paris under the watchful eye of Patrick Demarchelier , and appears in the advertising campaigns of Ralph Lauren , Francois NarsLee Jeans , Olympus and Versace . In March 1990, she posed on the cover of the magazine under the lens of Health Orazio . In 1991, she found Patrick Demarchelier for the April issue of Vogue Paris and in March 1992, she appears alongside Christy Turlington shot by Max Vadukul. In 1994 Steven Meisel shoot the campaign for Prada, and 1996 the beautiful scrolls for Victoria’s Secret . In 1997, the seam opens its doors, and Naomi Campbell  walked for Chloe , Dior and Chanel.

Naomi continues to capture film+fashion enthusiast and Style No. 601 recognizes her as a Style Choice on May 22, 2013!
