A Fresh New Season For TV This Fall/Winter With New Orders And Rankings


In the land of TV, advertising is the driving force for the Jedi TV Execs.  After advertising come demographics, viewers, and ratings. USA ordered new episodes of “Suits, Necessary Roughness, and White Collar which will round out the second half of their season starting in January. Unfortunately, last season’s performance wasn’t enough to propel USA to the top of the charts.

NBC, however, with the help of their gong show “The Voice” moved to the top in the sought-after 18-49 demographic with a 4.0 rating/10 share. Their 4.0 represents on average four percent of households surveyed with televisions and the share represents on average 10 percent of households watching tv during broadcast.

CBS came in second in ratings and first in total viewers 2.6/7 and 15 million. Their hit show “NCIS” at 8 boast a 3.4/9 with 18.3 million viewers. 

Fox came in third with ratings and fourth in viewers with 1.7/5 and 3.8 million viewers.

ABC came in fourth in ratings and took third in total viewers with a 1.5/4 and 6.9 million. The network’s “Happy Endings” and “Don’t Trust the B___  in Apt 23” ratings dropped 22 percent and 29 percent respectively. ABC decided to order full seasons of political drama “Scandal” and alien next door drama “Neighbors” with style to complement their big hits “The Middle” and “Modern Family”

No shows were reported canceled at this time so, everyone enjoy the new season of their favorite shows on all their favorite networks.
